Consulting Engineers — Kingdom of Bahrain — Est. 2009
Madaen plans, designs and supervises the built environment across Bahrain — masterplans, land subdivisions, housing, infrastructure and community facilities — from first feasibility study through to final handover.
Who we are
Madaen Urban Planning & Civil Engineering W.L.L. was established in the Kingdom of Bahrain in June 2009 and holds a Grade (A) classification from the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions (CRPEP). The practice delivers integrated planning, design and execution services for large-scale projects — urban planning, architecture and civil engineering coordinated as one — with particular depth in housing, where Madaen has planned communities for government institutions, banks and developers across the Kingdom.
Masterplans, land subdivision, zoning and layout studies taken through municipal and ministry approval.
Architectural, structural and infrastructure design coordinated as one set, not three.
Tender documentation, BoQ and full-time construction supervision to completion.
What we do
We group our services the way a project actually moves — because a client rarely needs one service in isolation.
Before anything is built, the land has to be understood and divided.
Drawings and calculations that a contractor can build from without guessing.
The phase where cost and programme are actually won or lost.
Current work
Housing, community facilities and subdivisions in active delivery — for government institutions, developers and private owners.
Track record — selected projects
From masterplans of over a hundred hectares to single subdivisions — selected projects from the Madaen portfolio, for banks, ministries and developers.

Why Madaen
Most delays in Bahrain are not design problems. They are utility clearances, missing approvals and undocumented site decisions. We are organised around that reality.
Every project runs under the direct supervision of the founders — over 25 years each in government engineering practice.
Every instruction, inspection and material approval is registered and traceable. Claims are answered with records.
Municipality, ministry, EWA and Benayat processes are planned into the programme from day one, not chased at the end.
The engineers who plan the land are the engineers who sign off the handover.
